Raised in the deep south, surrounded by cousins, our childhood was enriched by the majestic forests and towering pine trees. Occasionally, we'd find ourselves dashing and scaling the pines, engaging in what we called "Pine Tree Chase," which often resulted in numerous scratches, bruises, and the inevitable application of mercurochrome.
